Ireland 2008 26min DVD Colour
Stocking the Shelves is a wonderful short film that looks at the life of the Irish Commercial Traveller in Ireland from the 1950s to the present day. It gives a unique insight into the development of the grocery trade in Ireland from the moving shop to the giant retail outlets. The film is told through the eyes of an elderly commercial traveller and features interviews with retired shopkeepers and the last family run cash and carry business in the country M.P. O’ Sullivan’s in Cork.

RECORDING MARJORIE
Ireland 2007 26Mins DVD Colour
Marjorie Fitzmaurice was a compulsive letter writer, photo taker and collector of mementoes and was the last in a long line that hailed from Caragh Lake, at one stage joking she “had relatives in nearly every house around Caragh!"
Recording Marjorie is a coulourful and entertaining story which is told using her own recordings, photos, slides and letters, yet there’s also a sense of sadness in the film as Marjorie, unbeknownst to herself, was documenting a world and culture that would soon disappear.
