Kerry International Film Festival is an internationally recognised film festival which takes place each October. Presenting outstanding short and feature films the festival celebrates exciting, original and emerging filmmaking talent, introduces filmmakers to the industry at large, and creates new film experiences for audiences.

From rewarding new filmmakers in our short film competition to enjoying the best film scores live, the festival provides great film experiences for all.

Having a long association with film luminaries such as Paul Greengrass, Finola Dwyer, Jeremy Irons, Liam Neeson, Maureen O’Hara, John Moore and Mark Bomback, who have supported and worked with the festival over the years, KIFF is a must for upcoming talent.

And as for a great audience experience? Well, we’ve got contemporary short films, iconic classics, live music and exciting world cinema to choose from. Add to that our location, we’re based in beautiful County Kerry, the perfect backdrop for a festival of great cinema!
