The Kerry Film Festival Awards Ceremony is the culmination of a week of films at Kerry Film Festival. The Awards ceremony will feature the screening of award winning short films as selected by our adjudicators.
But the highlight of the Awards Ceremony and of the week will be the presentation of The Maureen O’ Hara Award to director, Rebecca Miller. The award is named in honour of one of the most glamorous leading ladies of Hollywood’s golden era, Maureen O’ Hara, and is presented to someone that has excelled in film.
Rebecca Miller is a writer and director of rare talent with a unique voice. Her films have won world wide acclaim including the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance for PERSONAL VELOCITY: THREE PORTRAITS. Her other films include THE BALLAD OF JACK AND ROSE and THE SECRET LIVES OF PIPPA LEE which screened at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.

One more example of the incredible talent present in today's Ireland.
