Lawrence of Arabia won 7 Oscars, including those for Best Director and Best Picture. It made a star of Peter O’ Toole and it’s every bit as epic today as it was in 1962. It’s a wonderful film and wonderfully deals with the flamboyant and controversial British military figure and his conflicted loyalties during wartime service.
