The Festival is dedicated to boosting the careers and profile of women in the film world, LA Femme participants gain access to established industry players. Past honorees include Rosanna Arquette, Lea Thompson, Martha Coolidge, Bravo Networks President Lauren Zalaznick, and NBC Universal Television President Angela Bromstad.

It's a great place for women to connect and build relationships while experiencing and enjoying each others' work. Winning LA Femme filmmakers have gone on to secure national, international and cable distribution for their films, while screenplay winners have garnered development deals, writing assignments, and agents. Even winning shorts have led to studio development deals for long form stories from the talented storytellers.
